How long does Personal Therapy last?

Because each person is unique, so is each treatment plan. The Counsellor / Psychotherapist creates personalized treatment plans, taking into account all relevant information and background of each case.

Therefore, the duration of the therapeutic plan is determined on a case-by-case basis and cannot be generalized. It depends on the particular characteristics of each individual case, the therapeutic goals, the therapeutic approach (or combination of approaches) and the client’s response to therapy. In general, therapy can last from 6-7 months, up to 4-5 years. Of course, this does not mean that the individuals cannot stop whenever they want. Sessions last 50 minutes and are (usually) scheduled on a weekly basis (one per week).

On-line Sessions

In order to be able to help you when time, distance, or any other issue is an obstacle, we offer online sessions via Skype, Zoom, MS Teams, Viber, Messenger, WhatsApp, Facetime and Google Meet.

In any case, physical presence and face-to-face interaction cannot be completely replaced by an online session, however, with the technology we have today, we are able to conduct online sessions that are proven (by research and literature) to have very positive therapeutic effects.

Online sessions are also held once a week and last 50 minutes. You can attend your session from the comfort of your home, office, car or elsewhere, provided you are assured of your privacy.
